Is Lincoln spoiled? :0)
I'm so excited that I know Lincoln isn't color blind. (Well, a person never knows for sure!) Yesterday it was absolutely gorgeous outside and the wind never hit the yard so we were outside a long time. I gave each of the kids a new bottle of bubbles and each was a different color. We were on the swing set (the only place on the yard with grass!) and only Mercedes' bubbles were on the swing. Lincoln pulled my arm and pointed to the bubbles and said, "mom, where my go?" It was just adorable because he knew Mercedes' was green and they weren't his. Oooooh - I know, too cute! lol. It's just amazing how different a year is between age 1 and 2. Lincoln went up and down the steps to the play house like nothing! However, one of the girls' were always right there in case he fell. :0) Jon said last night, "Becky, I think Lincoln is spoiled." I laughed and said, "why do you think that?" He said, "Because the girls are constantly with him making sure he has everything he wants." Yep, that's for sure. He barely grunts and points and the girls are getting stuff for him. All he does is points upstairs and says, "E-ceces, ki-ki upstairs!" Translation: Mercedes, blanket upstairs! Mercedes hears that and says, "oooh, Lincoln do you want your blanket?" Lincoln says, "YES!" with a big smile on his face and she kisses his cheek and says, "Ok, you stay here and I'll go get it." I'm telling you, this is what it's like. Then we wonder why he throws a complete fit when he doesn't get what he wants. lol. He'll learn soon enough that the world doesn't revolve around him. I swear he's Sierra in a boy body. Get this - he's even fashion conscious! I know - don't tell Jon. This is not a good thing. If he doesn't like what clothes I pick out, he will refuse to wear them. No kidding. Today I had a shirt picked out and he was ok with that, but I had picked out a pair of regular jeans and he cried and shook his head and said, "no, no pants" and threw them down. I said, "What do you want?" He pointed to his camoflage pants and said, "THESE pants!" I took them out and said, "These?" and he said, "YES!" I've never known a boy to be picky about his clothes at age 2. How is it that Mercedes never did that, but Sierra and Lincoln did?
Peace
