Grey, like an E'ol day
I have to tell you. Mercedes has this Winnie the Pooh book and you press buttons on the side of the book to match what you are reading. There are colors that say, "Blue, like. . .", "Red, like. . ." and then there was a Grey one. For the life of me, I couldn't understand what Mercedes was all saying, but she said it with a Southern accent "Grey, like and E - Ol Day" and the more we laughed, the more she said it and it was honestly the most hilarious thing. Everyone that would come to our house we asked them what she was saying and they didn't know. Now, I don't know Pooh hardly at all and so another friend came over who is a daycare provider and Mercedes brought the book to her and she knew right away. (Previously, we kept pressing the Grey button and we thought she was saying it right, but we couldn't understand exactly what she was saying because it sounded just like the book.) She said, "Becky, it's 'Grey, like an Eeyore day'." Heck, I didn't know Eeyore days were Grey. Well, now I do. :0) Note: This story with Mercedes happened probably 6 months ago, but I didn't want to forget it.
Peace.
