Unique things about the kids and Jon. . .

I was reading another site and noticed the mom had listed favorite things that her son liked. Well, I thought that was a splendid idea!

***

SIERRA:
- Thinks showering every day is absolutely horrible.
- She does shower every night, yet she must like it because she is showering for over 45 min!
- Loves the color pink.
- wants to be a writer and illustrator (SP?) when she grows up
- also wants to be a photographer
- forgets everything! (Just like her dad! :D)
- puts her clothes away and leaves the drawers 1/2 open with clothes hanging out
- loves anything Bratz
- loves glitz and glam
- likes dance class
- enjoys spending time with Leighton (could you call him her boyfriend?)
- LOVES school and her teachers
- SUPERB reader
- has an awesome imagination
- donated her hair to LOCKS OF LOVE
- loves potato salad
- writes with her right hand

MERCEDES:
- Doesn't mind showering. in fact, she goes so fast I had to question if she really did shower!
Seriously, she's out in less than 10 minutes. CRAZY!
- LOVES/ADORES the color GREEN. Literally, she wants everything to be green. Her new
room is also green.
- Loves anything Dora the Explorer. I thought she would have been out of that phase, but she's
been in it for numerous years.
- Just learned how to write her last name!! Also learned to write in lower case "d" instead of
upper case. I taught her how to write her name in all caps and once she got that down, i slowly
taught her the lower case way letter by letter. She used to write her name "MerceDes" and
now it's all lower case other than the "M".
- adores her little brother. They are peas in a pod. Her and Lincoln love to get into trouble
together. Lincoln and Sierra have more the mom/son relationship and Mercedes and him
have the bro/sister.
- loves school!
- loves spending time with her friends
- very anal about keeping her bed made and clothes put away. her drawers are always closed
and i never have to ask her to put her clothes away.
- she remembers EVERYTHING! she's constantly asking sierra if she has her tennis shoes,
backpack, and if she brushed her teeth, etc. lol.
- very "huggy". loves to give everyone a hug
- while eating supper, she will go around the table and give everyone a hug and tell them she
loves them
- wants to be an astronaut when she grows up
- she is awesome at coloring
- she loves dance and it soooo comes naturally to her. she doesn't even try and she just auto-
matically remembers it!
- loves to help around the house. she is constantly asking what she can help with. She's
AWESOME!
- loves to eat coleslaw!!
- she writes with her left hand!! i felt so bad for her when she was learning to write because as
she wrote, her hand would smudge it. :(

LINCOLN:
- loves to eat coleslaw AND potato salad :D
- colors with his right hand
- loves to be with his sisters
- constantly says "ROCK ON!!!!!" and then punches the air with his arm when he says it.
- cries when he gets his hair washed
- screams when he gets a hair cut
- LOVES his blanket with the satin trim
- sucks his thumb
- asks me to go to bed
- i've seen him cry and hang on the crib sides trying to get INTO the crib
- says "ya-you" for "love you"
- eats literally everything
- loves spending time with dad outside
- loves to ride the 4-wheeler
- loves all sorts of cars, tractors, trailers, etc. he lives/breathes for anything with wheels!
- loves dancing to any sort of music. was a hit at Jon's cousin's wedding this summer. he danced
for 3 hours straight! literally!

JON:
- loves to work
- loves spending time with the kids
- was thrilled he had a little boy :D
- can't go to bed/sleep without me being next to him (aaawwwww)
- says he loves me probably on average 20+ times each day (awwwww)
- has the most genius mind of anyone i have ever met
- does his best thinking in the shower
- every idea he comes up with, he acts on
- can build literally anything
- the most hard working person i know
- did a fabulous job on our house :D woo hoooo!!
- he's a great boss
- kind hearted
- willing to give anyone a chance, but if you screw him over - WATCH OUT! lol
- last night was there for all 3 kids when they ALL needed shots. mercedes asked him to be
there since she was getting a flu shot and her kindergarten shots. his heart melted and said
of course he'd be there. he actually left work early just for the kids! lincoln needed a flu shot
and his Hep A and sierra needed a flu shot.
- will literally drop anything for his kids
- does all the painting in the house
- puts up all the border in the house
- made all of the woodwork/trim/baseboard in our house
- made a 3 room dog house with a patio on the front, shingled and sided it
- made a play house for the kids. put a patio around 2 sides and also sided it. put a sandbox in
the bottom.
- he can fire people now without flinching (tim, scott, louie, . . .)
- lives and breathes for our business (only after me and the kids)
- puts up with me :D

i could go on forever with the things i love about my husband. . . :D
